Aim：

Provide pupils with a wide range of contexts and learning experiences to:
- develop their English Language proficiency;
- enhance their personal and intellectual development; and
- extend their understanding of other cultures through the English medium.
Enable every learner to prepare for the changing socio-economic demands resulting from advances in information technology; these demands include the interpretation, use and production of materials for pleasure, study and work in the English medium.

Activities：

English Fun Day
Our English Fun Day was packed with exciting activities that combined fun, learning, and healthy living! The day kicked off with a thrilling game of lacrosse in the morning, encouraging teamwork and physical activity. Students then enjoyed creative and interactive game booths, complete with healthy snacks, refreshing drinks, and engaging games. To cap off the day, students danced and played sports with Switch games, showcasing their energy and enthusiasm. It was a day full of laughter, fun, and meaningful lessons about the importance of staying active and maintaining healthy habits!
Penmanship Competition
All students enthusiastically took part in the Inter-School Penmanship Competition, showcasing their skills by writing pieces from a variety of authors. It was a wonderful opportunity for creativity and expression!
Hong Kong School Speech Festival –Solo Verse Speaking
Our talented students were selected to compete in Solo Verse Speaking Competition in the annual Hong Kong Speech Festival.
The dedication of our students and English teachers has truly paid off!

Having Fun in the English Classroom
Our goal is to create a welcoming and authentic environment for our students to learn English. Our students enjoy two engaging lessons each week with our NET teacher, Ms. Wright, in the English room. Through phonics, fun games, and developing strong reading skills, students are thriving in KTGPS!
